Yeah, I didn't notice the title error until after I'd submitted my post, oops.

I just finished Brave New World last night (which isn't strictly Sci-Fi I guess, is it?), but I think I'll start Foundation next.  Then perhaps 1984.

BNW and 1984 are part of the larger genre of "speculative fiction" which has substantial overlap with sci-fi.

So I finished Dune last week and thought it was excellent.  I was reading some reviews of Dune: Messiah and there were a few that said the first and second are really closely tied together and should be read in succession.  What is your take Berman?

I read the first 3 dune books in quick succession, and I felt like they flowed fairly well, although I was kinda losing interest (and had less time) by the 3rd.

The Ender's game series is always a good read. I like the Shadow storyline better than the Ender storyline, though.
